15 Wing Moose Jaw Training

Moose Jaw and District EMS, in partnership with DND 15 Wing Moose Jaw and Nato Flight Training Center (NFTC) is pleased to invite you to a full day training session to better prepare First Responders, EMS, Police and Fire personnel in aircraft crash responses. As you may know, 15 Wing Moose Jaw is home to the fabulous Canadian Snowbirds Team, and also a training center for military pilots from around the world. As such their flight paths and destinations are varied throughout the province, and for that reason, effective training and preparation is essential in your areas of response. There will be theory and hands on sessions to familiarize your personnel with the safety requirements and dangers of responding to incidents involving the aircrafts used by 15 Wing Moose Jaw. As civilian personnel are generally the first on-site at an off-base crash, this training becomes very important to all responders.

We are targeting emergency response personnel along the main flight paths from Moose Jaw and Regina to Saskatoon, Lloydminster and Prince Albert. So this training will be valuable to all responders along Highways #2, #11 and #16. If your agency responds in these areas, you should have representation present for this training.

Please forward this message to anyone in these response areas that you dispatch for, and/or should attend.
